Vectera March updates

What's new 2 min read

Spring is in the air and the sun brought us some extra energy! That extra energy resulted in some awesome new features and functionalities in Vectera. Go take a look into your dashboard and meeting rooms and discover more integration options, better participant management during group calls, improved video quality settings, a geo picker in the scheduler, and more!

Better participant management during group calls

Since we launched our media server, stable group meetings with up to 10 participants are possible in Vectera. In order to make your Vectera experience in group calls even smoother, we’ve now added some specific features for better participant management.

If the microphone of one of your participants is capturing annoying background noise, you can now mute other participants if you’re the meeting host. Also, you can kick out unexpected guests or participants that forgot to leave the meeting room. In that way, you will have full control when you’re the meeting host.

Improve your CRM flow with Vectera

Vectera provides multiple possibilities to smoothen your workflow. You can discover them all on the integrations page in your Vectera account. One of our top assets is the possibility to connect Vectera to your favorite CRM. This past month, we’ve updated the existing Teamleader integration.

Schedule meetings directly into your Teamleader agenda

Before, you already could create a new contact, company, and deal in Teamleader for every new customer that schedules a meeting with you on your Vectera booking page.

From now on, you can also decide to create an event for the booked appointment directly in your Teamleader agenda. In that way, you have all the information you need automatically synced to your favorite CRM.

This help article guides you through all the possibilities.

Schedule meetings on location

When offering your customers the possibility of meeting on location, you don’t want them having to cross the whole country to see you. Well, meet our geo picker!

If you’ve set up different appointment types, you can now select the appointment nearest to your customers by entering their address. All your appointment types will then be ordered (based on address) according to the vicinity.

This feature is not activated by default in your account. If you’d like to use this feature, don’t hesitate to reach out to team@vectera.com.

Improved video quality settings

Before, all participants could edit the video quality settings in the meeting rooms. from now on, only the meeting host will be able to switch on HD mode in the meeting room. This setting will then apply to all participants.

However, participants with a weaker connection will still be able to disable incoming video streams.

What’s next?

We’re planning a big revamp of the scheduling configuration interface. And to give you a clear overview of what you can expect, we’ve written a blog post that covers most of it. Are you curious about the upcoming changes? Read all about it in this blog post.

Lastly, we would like to highlight that we look forward to your feedback so we can offer you the best scheduling and customer meeting experience. Set up your next customer meeting right away by logging into your account or sign-up for a free, fully-featured trial of Vectera!
