April has not yet completely come to an end and there are already a lot of improvements and new features in the meeting rooms and scheduler. You can read about the most important ones below!
Improved camera dimension and resolution
From now on, camera resolution up to 720p is supported. To enjoy this crystal clear image even more, we’ve updated the camera dimension to a 16:9 ratio. Your camera image will show wider than before and in that way the available space in the meeting room will be optimized!
Offer a discount for paid appointments
After the extra payment methods in March, we’ve now also added coupon codes to the Vectera scheduler! In that way you can offer your customer a discount when they’re scheduling a paid appointment with you. This help article shows you how to create and use coupon codes!
Larger group meetings are coming up!
Update on group meetings! We’ve got a working, closed bèta-version! We’re able to support bigger group meetings up to 10 people with audio and video enabled. If you’d like to be taken into consideration to test our bèta version, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Other improvements
- Show audio/video settings in the waiting room: when knocking in order to join the meeting room, you’re now able to change the audio/video settings while waiting to enter the meeting room.
- A spinner on booking pages: we added a spinner when loading a booking page to make waiting more entertaining!
- PTZ-controls support: You can now use pan-tilt-zoom functionalities for your supported camera in Vectera. Note that this feature is available on request. Contact the Vectera team if you're interested to activate this!
- Extra keyboard shortcuts: New keyboard shortcuts have been added to open the chat (CMD/CTRL + C) and to toggle picture-in-picture for other participants’ cameras (CMD/CTRL + X). You can check all the keyboard shortcuts in this help article or in the meeting room overview (CMD/CTRL + K).
